Arrival and departure
What time can I check in?
From 4 pm onwards. Let us know your arrival time in advance, so Marika and Piero can be there to welcome you.
What time is check-out?
Between 7:30 am and 10:00 am.
Who will welcome me when I arrive?
Marika and Piero welcome you in person. That's why it helps to let us know your arrival time in advance.
Where can I park?
You can drive to within 30 metres of the house to unload your luggage. Public and paid car parks are a short walk away, and Marika and Piero will point you to the most convenient one.
The house
How many guests can stay?
Up to 6 guests: a double bedroom, a family bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and a sofa bed in the living room.
How big is the apartment?
85 m² on a single floor, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, a living room and a balcony.
Is the apartment shared with other guests?
No. It has its own private entrance and is fully independent, with no shared spaces.
Is there a lift?
No, the apartment is on the first floor and can only be reached by stairs.
What is the bathroom like?
The bathroom has a shower and a bidet, with a hairdryer and toiletries.
Is there a balcony?
Yes, overlooking the town: perfect for your morning coffee.
Amenities
Is breakfast included?
Yes. You'll find a breakfast kit in the apartment, plus vouchers for a croissant at the café downstairs.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi is free.
Is there air conditioning?
Air conditioning is in the living room and there are fans in the bedrooms. Heating is available for the colder months.
Is the kitchen equipped?
Yes: hob, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and kettle.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes, bed linen and towels are included, along with toiletries.
Is there an iron and a drying rack?
Yes, you'll find an iron, an ironing board and a drying rack.
Are there mosquito nets?
Yes, there are mosquito nets.
Children and pets
Can I bring small children?
Of course, children of all ages are welcome. A cot (0–2 years) is available on request for €5 per stay. Extra beds are not available.
Can extra beds be added?
No, extra beds are not available. For children up to 2 years old a cot is available on request.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, no.
Booking and costs
How can I book?
Message Marika on WhatsApp or call +39 327 055 4344 for availability and prices: you'll get a personal reply. You can also write to casavacanzelafoggia@gmail.com. The house is also listed on Booking.com and Airbnb.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes: €100 in cash on arrival, returned at check-out after a quick check of the apartment.
Is there a tourist tax?
Yes: €3 per person per night, up to a maximum of 3 nights. Children under 13 are exempt. It's paid on site, in cash.
What is the property's registration code?
The CIN (Italian national identification code) is IT072003C200050137.
House rules
Can I smoke or hold a party?
No. Smoking, parties and events, including hen and stag parties, are not allowed.
Location and transport
How far is the trulli district?
The trulli district is 300 m away. Sant'Antonio trullo church is 400 m away and the Trullo Sovrano 500 m: everything is within walking distance.
How do I get there by train?
Alberobello station is 800 m away, about a 10-minute walk.
Which are the nearest airports?
Bari airport is 68 km away, Brindisi airport 81 km.
What is there to see nearby?
Locorotondo is 9 km away, the Castellana Caves 17 km, the sea at Monopoli 23 km and Matera 67 km. All the destinations, with distances and driving times, are on the Surroundings page.
